As I sit here and realize that I have written and posted over 150 blog entries to "Jessica's Journey", I am simply amazed. Not amazed at myself but more amazed at what God has revealed to me and through me with each and every post that I have made.
Each post is a part of the story of this journey. The parts or posts become "chapters" and the "chapters" become the "story". The "book" that God has been writing through me has many, many chapters. Some chapters are happy, some are sad. Others are frustrating and seem wrong, while others are rewarding and seem so right.
God will be all in all. His will will be done. What may seem frustrating, wrong or unfair is not the end of the story. It's just the end of that chapter. Thank God the book that is being written here is full of many, many chapters!

Augustine once said something so right, when he said: "We count on God's mercy for our past mistakes; we count on God's love for our present needs; but we count on God's sovereignty for the future!"
Pray for Jessica and lift her up today as she continues with her daily struggles and accomplishments. Pray that the "chapters" being written here in Mexico - add up to a wonderful "book" - one that is complete with a happier ending. Isn't this what we ALL hope and pray for each day? To God be All the glory!
In God's love,
Sarah Gina (Jessica's Mom)*

We will continue to pray for your sweet Jessica (and you and your family). We pray that one day, you will look back at this and say "Do you remember when ..." and that it will seem like a distant memory.
ReplyDeleteWe also pray that what God has taught you (and many of us readers) will be buried deep within our hearts.
Thank you both for sharing this incredible Journey of God's amazing love, mercy, compassion and power.
It reminds me of so many accounts in the Bible where His people would struggle as they waited upon the Lord. He is faithful and worthy of trust.
May you continue to see more accomplishments in the days to come (and less struggles).
Hang in there, Jessica!
With love & prayers,
The Turners
I love happy endings and thank our Dear Lord for guiding you along the journey! I'm the kind that wants to read the last chapter first but in your book God is guiding us to be STILL and LISTEN! I love that song at church!!

Jeremiah 32:38-41
ReplyDelete38 They will be my people, and I will be their God. 39 I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.
41 I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.
