Remembering 9/11.........

To all our family and friends,

Today is September 11th, a day of remembering. For all of us it is a day that we remember all those who lost their lives on that tragic day in 2001. In our hometown of Garden City, N.Y., 23 lives were tragically lost on that day. It is a day that will be forever etched in our minds and hearts. For some it was the loss of a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, or a brother-in-law. For others it was a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, or a sister-in-law. For even others it was a fireman, a policeman, a teacher or a priest. But for all of us it was a loss that was unimaginable, one that we want to forget, but one that has to be remembered - as it should be!

So today, let us take a moment to remember all of those who lost their lives on that day. Let us hold on to their memories for it is in those memories that they do live on. And let us all remember that life is such a precious gift. And when one of us is gone, and one of us is left to carry on; then remembering will have to do. Love and peace and may God bless you all!

With love,
Jessica's Mom

  1. Jessica,

Today 9/11 brings memories back for all of us. Most of us felt and cherished the safety of our families that day. May God bring your memories back in full, though you know already how much your family loves you. Love,
    Nancy's husband
